I had an opportunity to go to Las Vegas this week to visit a few friends and scout out some locations for audio ambiance recording. Unfortunately the schedule became too hectic and we rain-checked it for this go-round. I’m really disappointed, not only because of the lost opportunity to hang with some great people – but also for the chance to capture some unique sounds for both music and sound effects work.
Likewise, it’s not going to get any cooler as the spring/summer wears on, so the number of chances to run the bike to Vegas without sweating my butt off is dwindling as each day passes. I’ll get out there eventually, I just hope the schedule comes together before the full brace of summer heat is on.
